In 1953, David Mahan opened the Pine Cove Tavern on the Northeast corner of 29th and E Street. His goal was to create a cozy neighborhood Tavern, serving the finest in mixed drinks where couples could come to enjoy each other. He succeeded. In 1963, the Pine Cove Tavern moved to its present location, when Highway 80 was built.

Best karaoke and only place to see all of the College and NFL games! You might even see Del Rogers there if your lucky. Channel 3 frequents the cove!
